Before You Call
Being prepared before you call your carrier speeds up the process significantly. Here's what to gather first.
Found on your declarations page or insurance ID card. If you can't find it, call our office and we'll look it up for you.
The exact date and time the incident occurred, or when you first discovered the damage.
Take photos of all damage before any cleanup or repairs. More documentation is always better than less.
Other driver's name, license number, plate, insurance info, and contact info for any witnesses. Get a police report number if applicable.
List of damaged items, any receipts or records of value, and steps you've taken to prevent further damage (e.g., tarping a damaged roof).
After reporting to your carrier, let our office know. We can advocate on your behalf, answer coverage questions, and make sure your claim is handled fairly.
